For instance, specific actions needed to trigger automated responses across devices: when the door to the stairs was opened, the stairway lights should turn on for five minutes and then switch off automatically. Additionally, a doorbell press should trigger an SMS notification and activate video feeds for either the front or back entrances on the control panels. |
SolutionThe cable problem was solved by making all sensors cable-less, by using RF or Wifi, both on secure networks. Openhab and Resource Solutions' OPC Server with WowBMS/EMS connecting to OPC Server.
